On November 10, 2022, LABMUNDO researchers Arthur Facini, Júlia Nascimento and Sérgio Mecena, undergraduate students of International Relations at UERJ (RI-UERJ), presented their work developed in the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC) at the XXXI Week of Scientific Initiation (SEMIC).

Supervised by Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, the projects analysed climate denialism in Brazil, the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance and the international climate negotiations during the COP26. Held between 7 and 11 November, SEMIC is an annual event which offers all the university’s Scientific Initiation researchers the possibility of disseminating their research projects among the teaching and student communities, as well as the external public.
