Last Friday, 1st March 2024, our coordinator, Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, presented his most recent book, Cooperación internacional al desarrollo: entre solidaridad e intereses (International Development Cooperation: Between Solidarity and Interests; El Colegio de Mexico, 2023), at a virtual panel held by the Mexico-United States Binational Relations Observatory, linked to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Besides Prof Milani, the launch also included the participation of researchers from the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (FCPyS-UNAM) Danae Galeana García and Mariana Aparicio Ramírez, as commentator and mediator respectively.

Published in Spanish, the work addresses the multiple dynamics of solidarity and interest involved in international development co-operation, a fundamental political field in international relations as it plays the role of buffering international tensions and integrates various processes of reconstruction of the world order.
