- 30/04/2025
On 28 April 2025, the Rio de Janeiro Antenna of the World Political Analysis Laboratory met once again at the Institute for Social and Political Studies (IESP-UERJ) for our monthly plenary session. As well as debating the ongoing projects and research agendas conducted by the group, the event included the presentation of the new composition of the LABMUNDO-Rio coordination team, which now includes Prof Pablo de R. Saturnino Braga.

The professor from the Department of International Relations at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (DRI-UERJ) joins Prof Rubens de S. Duarte in leading and supervising our projects. As of this year, the founder of LABMUNDO, Prof Carlos R. S. Milani, will be a researcher at the Laboratory, with the title of Coordinator Emeritus. After the news and a brief planning by the coordinators of the 2025 agenda, the April plenary session also included a presentation of Hugo Bras da Costa‘s research experience in the Graduate Programme in Military Sciences at the Army Command and General Staff School (PPGCM-ECEME).
LABMUNDO’s plenary sessions are periodic meetings between our team, held in person at IESP-UERJ and aimed at discussing the Laboratory’s research agendas, projects under development and topics of common interest.
