LABMUNDO coordinator debates the crisis of the liberal order at CEBRI
- 29/01/2025
On 16 January 2025, our coordinator, Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, took part in the most recent edition of the series of panel discussions Debating the Work, held by the Brazilian Centre for International Relations (CEBRI), dedicated to the book Fractured World: Reflections on the Crisis of the Liberal Order (Matrix, 2024).
With the presence of author Diogo Ramos Coelho, alongside Ambassador Gelson Fonseca, Ambassador Benoni Belli (virtually), Lia Valls Pereira and Prof Milani, the panel promoted a critical reflection on the transformations and uncertainties of the contemporary international scenario. The fractures in the liberal order were addressed, such as the advance of autocratic regimes, the crisis of multilateralism and the intensification of geopolitical rivalries.
