Labmundo coordinator granted the young scientist program of FAPERJ

It is with great joy and pride that LABMUNDO receives the news that our coordinator, Prof. Rubens de S. Duarte has been selected by the Young Scientist of Our State Program of the State of Rio de Janeiro Research Support Foundation (FAPERJ). The professor will receive the investment from the foundation to develop the project “Defence, Security and Environment: actors and perspectives of Brazil in face of common world challenges”.

Besides coordinating the Laboratory, Prof. Duarte is an adjunct professor of the Graduate Program in Military Sciences of the Meira Mattos Institute, in the Army Command and General Staff School (PPGCM-IMM-ECEME) and researcher of the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC). Considered one of FAPERJ’s flagship programs, the Young Scientist of Our State is a benchmark in the support of projects coordinated by research scholars of recognized leadership in their field, affiliated to teaching and research institutions based in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
