Labmundo coordinator participates in Science and Democracy Cycle on Climate Change

On Thursday 12 September 2019, starting at 2 pm, the ‘Science and Democracy Cycle’ will have its third edition, with a theme that is classified by experts as the first problem that concerns all nations: climate change and global warming.

The topics and table participants will be as follows:

– International Politics of Climate Change, by Carlos Roberto Sanchez Milani, Associate Professor at IESP / UERJ  and coordinator of Labmundo;

– A statement by Ricardo Magnus Osório Galvão, PhD in physics at MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA).

– Unequivocal scientific evidence on climate change, by Andréa Souza Santos, PhD in engineering from Coppe/UFRJ.

The presentations will be mediated by Bernardo Esteves, PhD in History of Science by HCTE/UFRJ (also a journalist specialized in science at Piauí magazine).
