LABMUNDO researcher’s thesis recognised at the 2026 IESP-UERJ Thesis and Dissertation Awards

The Institute of Social and Political Studies (IESP-UERJ) has published the list of winning projects for the 2026 IESP-UERJ Thesis and Dissertation Award, and LABMUNDO once again features among the best academic works defended at the Institute during the year. The doctoral thesis The trajectory of LGBTI+ rights in the foreign policy of Brazil and South Africa (1985–2016), defended by LABMUNDO member Henrique Rabello de Carvalho and supervised by Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, was awarded third place in the category devoted to theses produced within the Graduate Program in Political Science.
