LABMUNDO takes part in inter-institutional seminar with researchers from the University of Colima
On 13 November 2024, LABMUNDO researchers took part in the International Seminar of the inter-institutional project Cooperation and the global agenda for development: advances and challenges for gender equality and sustainability, an academic cooperation initiative between the Laboratory and members of the Estudios Sociopolíticos Contemporáneos research group at the University of Colima (Mexico). Labmundans Emanuel Semedo, Isabelly Corrêa, Janaína Pinto, Mariana Castro and Polianna Portela attended the meeting alongside representatives of the Mexican group.
The event was part of the celebrations for the 45th anniversary of the University’s Faculty of Political and Social Sciences (FCPyS-UCol) and its main objective was to present the progress of the research carried out within the framework of this project, coordinated by Professors Cristina Tapia Muro and María Elena Romero and by Prof Carlos R. S. Milani, coordinator of LABMUNDO. This partnership will result in a book on the project, due to be launched in 2025.
