LABMUNDO’s Bruna Soares receives an Honourable Mention in ABRI’s Theses and Dissertations Contest

The Brazilian Association for International Relations (ABRI) announced, on 13 December 2024, the winners of its 12th ABRI National Contest for University Dissertations and Theses in International Relations – Professor Marcos Costa Lima Award, and LABMUNDO is proud to announce yet another recognition of our academic production. Political scientist Bruna Soares de Aguiar was awarded an Honourable Mention for her doctoral thesis Feminist Foreign Policy Analysis: a methodological contribution to verifying congruence between political norms and practices. Supervised by Prof. Enara Echart Muñoz and co-supervised by Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, this thesis was presented in 2023 at the Graduate Programme in Political Science at IESP-UERJ, and is currently being developed as a book to be published by LABMUNDO.

Aimed at encouraging scientific and cultural production in Brazil and ensuring the dissemination of works of academic and intellectual excellence to the community and the general public, the results of the competition were announced during the assembly of ABRI’s 7th Undergraduate and Graduate Seminar in International Relations, held between 12 and 14 December 2024 on the campus of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS).
