Labmundo’s researcher receives a travel grant to participate in the 25th World Congress of Political Science, in Australia

Patrícia Barros, Labmundo’s Researcher and Political Science Master’s student at IESP-UERJ, was one of the 30 IPSA travel grant recipients at the 25th World Congress of Political Science in Brisbane, Australia. The Congress was attended by more than 2.000 people, from all continentes, and there were presentations from several fields, such as: Migrations, Elections, Human Rights and Gender. The researcher participated as co-chair of the Panel The New Dynamics of Social, Political and Economic Change in Latin America, in which she also presented her paper The Brazilian role in Intra-regional Migration Growth. In this same week, she has also taken the Research Methods course, given by Prof. Werner J. Patzelt from the Technische Universität Dresden.
