On 26 June 2023, the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC) invited LABMUNDO researcher Renata Albuquerque Ribeiro to give an open class on Energy Transitions and Climate Change at the Institute for Social and Political Studies (IESP-UERJ).

Renata shared the event with political scientist Elia Cia Alves, professor of the Graduate Programme in Public Management and International Cooperation at the Federal University of Paraíba (PGPCI-UFPB). The activity was offered as a conclusion to the course “Foreign Policy, Climate Change and the South American Amazon“, a subject of the Institute’s Graduate Programme in Political Science taught by Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani, coordinator of LABMUNDO and OIMC, and Prof. Ana Paula Tostes (PPGCP/IESP-UERJ), during the first semester.
