Prof. Dr. Carlos R. S. Milani, LABMUNDO coordinator, presented on Monday, December 12, his memorial defense for promotion to Full Professor at UERJ. The ceremony was held at the Institute of Social and Political Studies (IESP-UERJ), and was attended by Institute professors Carlos Antonio Costa Ribeiro and Maria Regina Soares de Lima, together with Carlos Schmidt Arturi (PPGCP-UFRGS), Tullo Vigevani (PPGRI-UNESP) and Miriam Gomes Saraiva (PPGRI-UERJ), on the examining board.

Besides coordinating our Laboratory, Prof. Milani also coordinates the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC) and is Deputy Director of IESP-UERJ. LABMUNDO takes this special moment to congratulate the professor and thank him for the 16 years of support, mentorship and collaboration provided to our researchers.
